04/15/02
A new Internet radio operation focusing on educational and technology
issues, environmental and senior concerns is now available through the
EILI Network.
Radio EILI
launched its inaugural series, "Global Effect," with an interview
with Dr. Eric Apel from the National Center for Atmospheric Research in
Boulder, CO. His research program, operated jointly with the University
of Miami, will measure the effects of air quality in some of the world's
most rapidly growing megacities.
Host for
Global Effect is Denise Washington-Blomberg, a former host for a Denver
NPR radio station, KUVO and a producer for KBDI-12, a Denver public television
station.
Upcoming
programs scheduled for Radio EILI will include discussions on education,
technology and senior issues, Glenn Meyers, executive director of the
EILI Network.
Radio EILI
programs are available through two players, QuickTime and Windows Media.
Downloads for either of the players are available through Radio EILI.
A player only needs to be downloaded once.
