Light pollution solution
12/19/01 - The Dark Sky Association

The Dark Sky Association, a nonprofit based in Tuscon, Arizona estimates that two-thirds of Americans cannot see the Milky Way with the naked eye on a clear night. Light pollution costs between $1 billion and #2 billion a year in wasted energy. This wasted light also disrupts bird migration and reproductive cycles in the natural world.
